Firefighters gave a woman in her 60s oxygen therapy after she escaped a burning house in Felixstowe.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a house fire in Western Avenue at 3.08pm.
A brigade spokesman said the fire started in the oven and firefighters had extinguished the blaze by 3.22pm.
A woman was given oxygen therapy by fire crews but she did not require an ambulance or hospital treatment, the spokesman added.
One fire crew from Ipswich East and another from Felixstowe attended the blaze.
