PART of a house in rural Suffolk was left smoke-damaged today after a fire broke out in an extension.
Three teams of firefighters were called to the property off Hacheston Road, Marlesford, just before 8am.
A single-storey extension was heavily smoke-logged and they used breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to bring the fire under control by around 8.40am.
No-one was hurt in the incident.
