A NATIONAL housing conference is coming to Ipswich.
Up to 100 delegates from local councils across the UK will attend the Housing Policy Forum at the Town Hall on Friday 18th January.
Government Minister Malcolm Wicks will deliver the keynote speech.
The forum, organised by the Local Government Association in conjunction with Ipswich Council, will look at "housing's contribution to the major social agenda in Britain".
It will be opened by Ipswich Mayor, Maureen Carrington-Brown.
The council's housing spokeswoman, Jeannette Macartney, said: "We are all looking forward to sharing ideas and information on a wide range of issues, including how housing provision affects many key policy areas such as education, caring for the elderly and supporting the family."
