Hundreds of cannabis plants seized

MORE than 300 cannabis plants have been seized from a house in Ipswich.

At about 10.30am todaya warrant was executed at a property in Kingfisher Avenue, Chantry, and approximately 350 cannabis plants of varying sizes from seedlings up to 2ft tall were seized.

At about 10.30am today a warrant was executed at a property in Kingfisher Avenue, Chantry, and approximately 350 cannabis plants of varying sizes from seedlings up to 2ft tall were seized.

A 30-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis. He is being questioned at Ipswich Police Station.
