Around £200 has been stolen from an Ipswich pub in an overnight burglary.
The Grinning Rat, in St Helens Street, was targeted between 4am-4.30am on Sunday.
The burglar broke-in and stole a laptop and an amount of cash which police say is a “few hundred pounds”, believed to £200.
The offender was described as a white man, about 5’7” tall, of a medium build. He was wearing a black baseball cap with a white logo, a dark coloured top with white lined cuffs, lighter coloured trousers and black shoes.
Police are linking this to the burglary of a property in St Helens Street where a wallet and amount of cash was stolen.
