POLICE were scouring CCTV footage today for clues in the hunt for missing teenager Luke Durbin.

More than a week has now passed since the 19-year-old disappeared after a night out in Ipswich with his friends and officers handed out leaflets to those going to Zest nightclub last night - the venue where Luke had been.

Sergeant Neil Reid said: “We are currently following on with all lines in the inquiry. We have received a report that Luke was seen in Old Foundry Road, in Ipswich, at 3.40am on Friday May 12.

“CCTV footage is being viewed to try to track his movements beyond this time.

“Leaflets were distributed last night in Ipswich around Zest nightclub to people going inside and to taxi drivers working in the area.

“We will follow up any information received from last night's efforts.”

Police have also been chasing up three possible sightings of Luke in Woodbridge and Sainsbury's in Ipswich.

Nicki Durbin, Luke's mother, said: “If he is reading this I would just ask him to get in contact with us to let us know he is OK.”

He lives in Hollesley and is described as white, 5ft 10in, of slim build, with short mousy-coloured wavy hair and blue eyes.

At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a black or grey long-sleeved collared shirt, blue jeans and brown suede shoes.

Police are asking Mr Durbin, or anyone with information about where he is, to contact Woodbridge police station on 01473 613500.
