POLICE are searching for a vehicle with damage to its driver's side today after a man died in a hit-and-run incident.The 23-year-old from Basildon was walking in Upper Mayne in the town at 9.20pm last night when he was struck by the vehicle.
POLICE are searching for a vehicle with damage to its driver's side today after a man died in a hit and run incident.
The 23-year-old from Basildon was walking in Upper Mayne in the town at 9.20pm last night when he was struck by the vehicle.
The driver failed to stop after the collision and Essex police were today appealing for help in their search.
The injured man was treated by ambulance officers at the scene and taken to hospital, where he later died.
