POLICE are hunting for a teenage girl who threatened an Ipswich shopkeeper with a knife in a bid to rob the till.The girl approached a newsagent's kiosk in St Matthew's Street at 7.40am on Sunday and asked for a packet of cigarettes before producing a small knife and demanding cash from the till.

The girl approached a newsagent's kiosk in St Matthew's Street at 7.40am on Sunday and asked for a packet of cigarettes before producing a small knife and demanding cash from the till.
But the shopkeeper, who has not been named, refused and called the police.
The would-be robber then fled along Berners Street.
The girl is described as white, 5ft tall, of slim build, around 16 years old with long ginger hair and was wearing a hooded top.
