POLICE are today on the look-out for a missing 23-year-old man.

Wayne Beecham had been due to start work around 8.30pm at Stoke-by-Nayland golf club in Leavenheath.

He left his accommodation on the complex around 10 minutes before in order to walk to work.

But a concerned colleague informed the police around 10.30pm when Mr Beecham did not turn up and police searched the area together with the police helicopter, dog handlers and golf club staff.

It is considered completely out of character for Mr Beecham not to arrive for work.

Mr Beecham is described as white, around 5ft 7in, of slim build, with short, cropped blond hair and is said to have been wearing a white shirt, black trousers, a black tie and a grey padded jacket.

Anyone with information should call Hadleigh police on 01473 613500 or 0800 555 111.
