POLICE are appealing for help to trace an Ipswich man who went missing on Friday.Roy Messenger, 40, suffers from short term memory loss and last spoke to his mother on the phone in the early hours of Friday morning when he told her he was at Ipswich train station.

POLICE are appealing for help to trace an Ipswich man who went missing on Friday.

Roy Messenger, 40, suffers from short term memory loss and last spoke to his mother on the phone in the early hours of Friday morning when he told her he was at Ipswich train station.

When he didn't return home his family contacted police.

Mr Messenger is believed to have connections in Ipswich and Stowmarket.

He is described as white, 5ft 7ins, with short wavy ginger hair, clean shaven and having a freckly complexion.

He was last seen wearing dark jeans and a dark sweater.
