Two imitation firearms have been stolen from a car in Ipswich.

The break-in happened while the vehicle was parked in Oak Hill Lane between 4pm on Sunday and 7.30am on Monday.

The offender stole a tan-coloured imitation HK416 assault rifle and a tan-coloured imitation M4 assault rifle.

Also taken were a silver man’s Omega Seamaster watch with an orange face, cash and two pairs of designer sunglasses.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call Pc Conor Ward, from Ipswich police, on 101 quoting crime reference number IW/15/2949.
