A HORSE rider was at the centre of a rescue mission after she fell off her horse on marsh land south of Aldeburgh.
The 40-year-old suffered a shoulder injury when she fell from the horse about 400 yards from the nearest road at about 6pm yesterday.
Because of her location an ambulance crew could not reach her so the coastguard was called in. A crew from Thames Coastguard used a four-wheel-drive vehicle to carry her from the marsh land to the waiting ambulance.
She was taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment.
