POLICE were today called to two accidents on the A12 near Ipswich.A woman was released from her vehicle by firefighters before being taken to Ipswich Hospital with shock after a three-vehicle collision around 5pm.

A woman was released from her vehicle by firefighters before being taken to Ipswich Hospital with shock after a three-vehicle collision around 5pm.
A red Ford Escort estate, a grey Nissan Micra and a blue Nissan Primera were involved in the incident on the Ipswich-bound carriageway near the Copdock Interchange.
All motorists managed to pull into a lay-by causing minimal disruption to traffic.
Then at 5.26pm, a woman was taken to Ipswich Hospital with suspected spine injuries after a single vehicle collision near the Tesco roundabout in Martlesham Heath.
Another person was also taken to hospital with reported non-serious injuries. No-one else is believed to have been injured in either of the incidents.
