The inquest for Felixstowe teenager Ellie Nixon has been adjourned until later this year.
The 18-year-old was driving a silver Ford Ka on May 13 when it collided with a lorry in a lay-by on the eastbound A14 at Bucklesham.
The cause of the students death was given as head injuries as a result of a road traffic collision, Suffolk coroner Peter Dean said during the inquest at Landmark House in Ipswich today. He also offered his condolences to Miss Nixon’s family and friends.
