Police are treating the death of man whose body was discovered in an Ipswich car park this morning as unexplained.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Lower Brook Street, near the town centre, at 7am after concerns were raised for the safety of a man.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and he remains unidentified at this time, a spokeswoman for Suffolk Constabulary said.
A police cordon is in place at the location and the death is currently being treated as unexplained.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward or anyone who may have any information to assist the investigation.
Anyone who can help should contact Suffolk Constabulary on 101 quoting incident number 82 of today.
