Three pitches were set up for the youngsters to compete on in a full tournament at Portman Road.

As well as being able to enjoy some football two Ipswich Town players also visited the tournament.

The club had teased earlier in the day on Twitter that some “special guests” may be paying a visit.

In the end it was Freddie Sears and Myles Kenlock who were the mystery guests.

The players were on hand to chat to the pupils taking part in the tournament and to take photographs in between games. Town forward Freddie Sears said “It’s great to see so many kids here playing and enjoying their football.

“I hope everyone had a great day”
