Paramedics were called to a road outside an Ipswich school this morning after a child was hit by a car.
Police closed off Cliff Lane after a boy was injured in the collision at about 8.40am.
The boy, whose age has not been confirmed, was conscious and breathing when officers arrived at the scene, just outside Cliff Lane Primary School.
A police spokeswoman said the boy’s injuries are not thought to be life threatening but that he suffered bruising to the side of his head.
