FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a suspicious car fire.
Two crews were sent to Duke Street in Ipswich at 2.30am for what was initially thought to be a collision.
On arrival they discovered the incident was actually a car fire.
Using a hose reel and wearing two sets of breathing apparatus, the fire was brought under control.
The flames were out by 2.45am. A spokesman for the brigade said they were treating the incident as suspicious.
