A TOPPING-out ceremony will be held to mark the progress being made at the site of a multi-million pound academy.
The ceremony is being held at Ipswich Academy’s new building in Braziers Wood Road on Tuesday, March 19.
The milestone in the building work will see staff of the academy celebrate the future of the site.
The £16m development will open its doors to hundreds of students later this year, who will be moving from their current building in Lindbergh Road.
The building is due for completion by October, with the new campus to be made up of two buildings.
A main block will house teaching spaces and a sports area which will be a custom-made part fabric structure.
Alongside the sports building will be a new all-weather sports pitch built to Fifa standards.
