IPSWICH: An application to turn the Golden Key pub in Woodbridge Road into a small supermarket has been rejected by the borough.
Members of the council’s planning and development committee rejected their officers advice and rejected the application by brewer Greene King.
The name of the proposed supermarket operator has not been revealed – but Greene King said it would not be Tesco.
