More than 300 people of all ages took part in the Ipswich School of Dancing ballroom dancing festival at Rushmere Sports and Social Club.
"We had everybody from children of three right up to over-75s," said Rosemary Watson, manager of the school, based in Bond Street.
"It went very well – everybody had a good time and it was of a very high standard."
Dancers travelled from far and wide to take part, with ballroom fans from Biggin Hill and Orpington in Kent, Hadleigh and Southend in Essex all joining in the competitions and displays.
The school organises two festivals each year, one for ballroom and one for Latin dancing.
