IT HAS been described as the jewel in Ipswich's crown and the pride of an up and coming town but today Ipswich's Wet Dock is an eyesore.With crisp packets, tin cans and plastic bags being the first sight for the hundreds of tourists who visit the dock, there are fears the rubbish and debris could turn them away.
THIS was the scene today as Ipswich's Wet Dock has been cleared of the rubbish which saw it branded an eyesore.
The Evening Star highlighted the appalling state of the dock, filled with litter and debris, on Saturday.
Today the rubbish has been cleared by Associated British Ports (ABP), who are responsible for keeping the site clean, but we will keep watching and will highlight the problem if it happens again.
