Runners taking part in the Ipswich half marathon on September 21 will be able to travel free on First buses.
Participants need to show their running number or proof of entry to the driver to be eligible for the offer.
And any spectators travelling with the runner will also be able to get discounted High 5 group tickets.
Chris Speed, business manager for First Eastern Counties, said: “We are delighted to offer free travel to all runners on the day and discounted travel to supporters.
“I hope as many people as possible take advantage of these initiatives.”
The routes where the offer is eligible are 4, 4A, 53, 60, 61, 61A, 65B, 66, 75, 77, 116.
