CHIEFS at the Department of Health have today confirmed that Ipswich's St Elizabeth Hospice has been awarded a grant of £297,575 to improve the environment for hospice patient care.
CHIEFS at the Department of Health have today confirmed that Ipswich's St Elizabeth Hospice has been awarded a grant of £297,575 to improve the environment for hospice patient care.
Lesley Cockerton, the hospice's chief executive, said: “We are thrilled and delighted to have received this money and are looking forward to being able to make significant improvements to the hospice building.”
There are 146 hospices who received a share of £40million to improve the physical environment of adult hospices as part of a dignity programme.
