A house blaze in Ipswich was tackled by firefighters this evening.
Crews battled the flames which had engulfed an upstairs bedroom of a property in Oxford Road.
Two fire engines were called to the incident shortly before 7pm. The blaze was doused and brought under control by 7.30pm.
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to tackle the fire.
An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.
It is not known if any serious injuries were sustained.
A Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said he had not been made aware of the incident.
