Ipswich Institute has expanded its programme of leisure learning courses after a surge in demand to launch its largest ever offering.
The institute, based in Tower Street and Tavern Street lays on more than 50 day courses and evening classes throughout the year for people who wish to learn new skills and take up a new hobby in music, history, art, crafts and languages.
The institute has said its courses have proved increasingly popular over the last year, meaning a bumper Autumn programme has been lined up.
Alongside the popular courses in art history, photography, French and Italian, the expanded programme features Japanese, ukulele, astronomy and Latin for beginners.
Hugh Pierce from the institute said: βItβs clear that the demand for courses keeps growing as fast as we can expand our offering.β
