Police have today charged two people in connection with prostitution and sexual offences in Ipswich.
Stuart Mansfield, 36, of Nelson Road, Ipswich, has been charged with controlled prostitution, three counts of rape, sexual assault, causing/inciting prostitution for gain, two counts of paying for sexual services and five counts of offences under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.
Carla Panton, 29, of Wenhaston, Suffolk, has been charged with two counts of controlled prostitution, two counts of causing/inciting prostitution for gain and one offence under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.
The pair returned on police bail to the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre today where they were charged with the offences.
They will appear at South East Suffolk Magistrates’ Court on January 15, 2014.
