Ipswich man cleared of terror charge

A MAN arrested in an anti-terror raid in Ipswich was found not guilty of being a terrorist today.Jacques Abi-Ayad, who was on the run from an attempted murder charge in Metz, France, was arrested at his home in Gippeswyk Road earlier this year.

A MAN arrested in an anti-terror raid in Ipswich was found not guilty of being a terrorist today.

Jacques Abi-Ayad, who was on the run from an attempted murder charge in Metz, France, was arrested at his home in Gippeswyk Road earlier this year.

The 40-year-old had been charged with of having documents which were likely to be of use to a terrorist.
