A 20-YEAR-OLD man from Ipswich has died following a three-vehicle collision in Essex.The accident happened at about 5.30pm yesterday on the Braxted Road at Rivenhall End and involved three vehicles.

POLICE have today named a 20-year-old Ipswich man who died in a collision in Essex.

Calvin Ripper, 20 of Ashmere Grove, Ipswich, died yesterday when the silver Toyota Celica he was driving collided with a Ford Eveco lorry.

The accident happened at about 5.30pm yesterday on the Braxted Road at Rivenhall End and involved three vehicles.

Mr Ripper, who was travelling towards the A12 is believed to have lost control of the car on a right-hand bend and struck the lorry.

A Peugeot 206 then struck the back of the lorry.

Mr Ripper was cut from the car by the fire brigade but was declared dead at the scene.

The driver of the lorry, a 46-year-old man from Tiptree, suffered an injury to his foot and was taken to Colchester Hospital.

The driver of the Peugeot, who was also from Tiptree, was uninjured.
