AN Ipswich man had a lucky escape today when his blue Honda car left the A12 and ended up behind the crash barrier.
Police, fire and ambulance, including the air ambulance, were called to the scene at 11.30am on the London bound carriageway of the A12 at Boreham, near Chelmsford.
The 56-year-old man from Ipswich was cut free from his car by fire crews and taken to Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, but suffered only minor injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the car leaving the road are asked to call PC Steve Burton at the Boreham policing unit on 01245 240625.
