A 56-year-old man from the Ipswich area has been arrested on suspicion of sexual grooming following a “sting” by a group of paedophile hunters.

Suffolk police confirmed the man had been arrested yesterday following reports made on Wednesday.

“He was taken into police custody where he will be questioned by detectives,” a spokesman added.

It follows video posted on the No More Silent Voices Facebook page, which described the recent sting.

The group said they had gone to a house in the Ipswich area, acting on behalf of another group, All For the Kids, where a man was said to have been using an app to contact their “decoys” - adults pretending to be children.
