A spokesperson for Suffolk police said that they were called to the man, who was trapped in Landseer Park at 7.50am yesterday morning.

Police officers and a fire crew were called to the scene and were able to remove him by 8.30am.

It is thought that he might have been trapped for a while longer before services were called.

A spokesperson for Ipswich Borough Council confirmed that the swing in question had been put back together.
