A 20-year-old man is due to appear in court after being charged with robbery and two counts of attempted robbery.
The charges relate to an incident in Robin Drive, Ipswich, on July 23 when a 20-year-old man had a mobile phone and iPod stolen – attempts were made to rob two other men, who were also 20, but they were unsuccessful.
Emrullah Kurum, of Wallers Grove in Ipswich, will appear at South East Suffolk Magistrates’ Court in relation to the charges.
He has also been charged with possessing an offensive weapon.
