Ipswich man to appear in court today after Clopton fail to stop incident

A 50-year-old man is to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court later today charged with failing to stop for police and other driving offences.

Julian Ellis, of Ascot Drive in Ipswich, was arrested in the early hours on February 28 in the Clopton area after police spotted a vehicle on the B1079.

He was subsequently charged with failing to stop for police, driving whilst disqualified and driving with no insurance.

He is due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court from 1.40pm this afternoon.
