Proceeds raised from a students’ magazine about Suffolk’s involvement in the First World War have been presented to a charity supporting the armed forces.
Sales of the publication, produced by a group of students from University Campus Suffolk, raised £305 for the Royal British Legion (RBL), which they presented to the Ipswich mayor last week.
Andrew Parker, one of the contributors, said: “We always thought that RBL was a worthwhile charity and when we made the presentation it really hit home how it’s going to help those in need of support.”
