Two young men involved in a fracas on a night out in Ipswich have admitted threatening behaviour.

Connor Mayhew, of Holman Court, Ipswich, and Kamil Danuj, of Cemetery Road, Ipswich, pleaded guilty to the offence when they appeared before the town’s magistrates court.

Danuj, 26, also admitted being in breach of a suspended prison sentence he was given in September last year.

Prosecutor Tess Mann said the incident occurred at 2.10am on February 4 when a group of eight to 10 people were having a fight with what appeared punches being thrown and flying kicks. Three people were arrested with one receiving a caution. The other two were Mayhew and Danuj, who admitted they had been drinking. Mayhew, 20, had a previous conviction for threatening behaviour, the court heard.

Mayhew was ordered to pay £185 in fines and costs, while Danuj was told he must pay £195 in fines and costs.
