A WALLET, cash and bank book were stolen from a home during a distraction burglary.
The incident happened in Eustace Road, Ipswich, between 10.45pm and 11.15pm, on Thursday.
Two women knocked at the door of the property and claimed they needed water for their car.
The elderly victim let the pair in and gave them a saucepan of water. The women then left and the victim noticed his wallet, cash and bank book had been stolen.
One woman was white, in her 30s, around 5ft 6ins tall, of stocky build, had long black hair and was wearing dark jeans and a dark coloured jacket.
The other woman was white, aged between 35 to 40, around 5ft 6ins tall, of stocky build, had long light coloured hair with a slight curl and was wearing a light coloured jacket and jeans.
