A NEW date has been confirmed for the Festival of Colours.
The Holi festival, which had been due to take place on March 24, will now be held on Sunday, April 28 at Holywells Park, Ipswich.
The festival, organised by the borough council, the Ipswich and Suffolk Indian Association and the Hindu Samaj, had to be postponed due to adverse weather conditions.
A spokesman for the borough council said: “Event organisers are hoping the sun will finally come out to play and, though delayed, we can finally welcome spring with this Festival of Colours.”
