Police are searching for a suspected hit-and-run driver after a teenager was left in hospital after a collision in Ipswich today.
A 13-year-old boy suffered a suspected broken ankle after being involved in a collision with a small black hatchback car in Landseer Road at around 4.45pm.
The boy was treated by paramedics and taken to Ipswich Hospital.
Police said they were told by paramedics at the scene that the driver appeared to stop temporarily after the collision before driving off in the direction of the town centre.
Officers are currently searching for the car and are urging members of the public to help find it. Call 101.
