Ipswich: Ralph Miller named as scooter rider who died in road crash

A 90-year-old man who died after a collision while riding his scooter in central Ipswich has been named by police.

Ralph Miller, of Chatsworth Crescent, Ipswich, was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the crash shortly before 6.30pm on Saturday in Commercial Road.

He has since died.

The red Honda motorcycle he was riding came into contact with a kerb.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area who witnessed the motorcycle travelling along Commercial Road either prior to, or when the collision took place.
