Father Christmas and his reindeer will be taking part in a free afternoon of festive family fun in Ipswich later this month.

Isaacs on the Quay is hosting its Christmas Fayre on Sunday, December 22 when visitors will be able to feed Rudolph and his pals and meet Father Christmas in person.

The event, which will also be raising funds for Autism & ADHD, an Ipswich-based social enterprise, is intended to give families an inexpensive yet fun day out in the lead up to Christmas.

Functions supervisor Marcella McGovern said: “We like to do a free event for families every year and this year we thought we’d make it a bit more of a fair with entertainment and singers so that there’s more for people to do.”

This year’s event, which runs from 3pm until 6pm, will feature performances from Suffolk Soul Singers, and a children’s entertainer as well as stalls selling delicious treats such as home-made sweets and pulled pork rolls. Isaacs can be found at Wherry Quay.
