Police are investigating incident reported by two girls
Police have said two Ipswich schoolgirls have reported being frightened by a man dressed as The Joker from Batman.
Officers said the incident occurred in the area of Selkirk Road and Renfrew Road at around 8.30am yesterday. The person- believed to male had white-painted face with a red smile and also wearing a green wig.
The individual was reported to have approached the girls, laughing and staring at them. The girls said they ran away. A search was carried out be no one was found.
Anyone with information should telephone Suffolk Constabulary on 101 and quote CAD 75 of September 26.
