Ed Sheeran is currently in the middle of the first of three gigs being played across the country today.

The first is a 30 minute set at a secret location in Ipswich which was due to start at 11am.

He will then be playing a one hour set at Koko in Camden Town, London and finishing with a two hour show in Vicar Street, Dublin this evening.

After arriving at the venue, which was only revealed to ticket holders at 4pm yesterday, Sheeran took the time to meet his queuing fans, some of whom had been there since 6.30am.

The singer-songwriter, who grew up in Framlingham, worked his way along the line of people posing for photos and signing autographs.

Tickets for the free gig sold out in minutes when they went up for grabs last week.

Only 50 pairs were made available meaning the fans lucky enough to get them would be in a crowd of just 100 people.
