AN IPSWICH teenager has been charged in relation to a stabbing in the town.

Dwayne Farrell of Downside Close has been charged with causing GBH, wounding with intent following the incident in Chantry on Thursday evening.

The 18-year-old has been remanded in custody at Ipswich Police Station to appear before South East Suffolk Magistrates tomorrow.

Emergency services were called to Hawthorn Drive at about 7.45pm on Thursday, to reports a teenager had been stabbed.

The teenage male was taken to Ipswich Hospital with wounds to his body and arm.
