Naval steam supply ship is now a rarity
Among the visitors for the Ipswich Maritime Festival is the Vic 96, a naval steamship.
She is now a rarity, and was built as part of the 1939-45 War effort to supply naval dockyards and the Fleet.
Having been restored by a group of enthusiasts she will be coming to Ransomes Quay from her usual berth at Chatham dockyard, Kent.
