This tree appears to be going through an identity crisis.
Val Bond, a member of our iwitness team of reporters, spotted the tree while out walking in Christchurch Park, Ipswich. She said: “It looks like a face in the tree trunk, it was quite unnerving.”
But more than just a face, the tree has been said to resemble children’s favourite Postman Pat.

This is not the first tiem an unusual looking tree has been spotted in Ipswich.
Council workers busily clearing fdebris from the town’s parks in the wake of the St Jude’s Day storms last year have come across a ball of roots on a fallen tree in Alexander Park that resembled a spaniel.
