Ipswich: Three arrested after bar brawl
THREE men are in police custody today after a man needed stitches in his ear following a bar brawl in Ipswich.
Glasses were allegedly smashed and chairs thrown during the fight at K Bar & Grill in St Nicholas Street last night.
Revellers in the rear bar watched on in horror as bottles were smashed and used as weapons, it was claimed.
The fight broke out around 8.15pm.
A spokesman for Suffolk Constabulary said two men aged 53 and 55 from Ipswich, along with a 49-year-old male from Stowmarket were taken into police custody following the incident.
The trio were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
A 39-year-old man was treated at the scene for his injuries before being taken to Ipswich Hospital where he had eight stitches inserted to an ear wound.

The three men arrested were due to be questioned by officers at Ipswich police station today.
