POLICE have launched a murder inquiry today after a man died in hospital following an assault in Ipswich town centre.Police were called to The Walk in Ipswich at about 8pm yesterday after reports that a man was bleeding from a head wound.
POLICE have launched a murder inquiry today after a man died in hospital following an assault in Ipswich town centre.
Police were called to The Walk in Ipswich at about 8pm yesterday after reports that a man was bleeding from a head wound.
The man collapsed and was taken to hospital but he later died from his injuries.
The victim is believed to be a 36-year-old from the Ipswich area.
