It was a day to remember for young Ipswich Town fans today – meeting their heroes at Portman Road.
Ten Blues stars took time out of their schedules to attend a special meet-and-greet session with supporters at the Planet Blue store.
Young and old queued up to have a chat with their favourite players, get an autograph and take a photograph for a memento to cherish.
Leading the line of players was top striker Tom Lawrence, the former Manchester United youngster who has scored a handful of stunning goals this season, as well as fan favourite Jonny Williams.
Other players at the half term event, which lasted an hour, were: Kieffer Moore, Emyr Huws, Myles Kenlock, Danny Rowe, Grant Ward, Jordan Spence, Josh Emmanuel and Toumani Diagouraga.
Defender Jordan Spence, who joined Town during the January transfer window until the end of the season, said: “It was a great opportunity to meet some of the fans at the Planet Blue store.
“I have really appreciated the warm welcome I have received since joining the club and look forward to more opportunities to pass on my gratitude for the support.”
The club also hosted special half term tours of Portman Road either side of the signing session, which took place yesterday afternoon.
