Historic vehicles from throughout the 20th century will be on show at Ipswich Transport Museum on Saturday which has invited owners to bring some of their much-loved cars to go on display.
The Classic Car Show will take place in the space behind the Cobham Road museum featuring privately-owned cars, vans, lorries and buses as well as its own exhibits.
Among the items on display will be three vehicles recently restored by museum volunteers: a Dennis Ace bus, a Scammell lorry and a Ford pick-up truck.
The museum is also expecting a visit from a restored 1953 AEC Regal bus which returned to the road this year year after 36 years languishing in a barn.
Event organiser Eric Mouser said: “The event has grown in popularity over the last few years and the owners love showing off their old classic vehicles. Every one has it’s own unique story, and is a remarkable survivor. It’s a great way to look back to the good old days of motoring.”
